SPECIAL WASTE

Special Waste is broken down into 3 categories – Bulk Waste, Hazardous Waste, and Yard Waste.

BULK WASTE consists of large items cannot be thrown away with regular trash because they are too big to fit in your trash container or are illegal to put into the waste stream. Some bulky items that need to be disposed of separately include furniture, mattresses, carpet, etc.

HAZARDOUS WASTE should not be mixed with regular trash because they may harm your hauler, create environmental problems, and in some cases it may be illegal.

YARD WASTE is defined as grass clippings, leaves, bundled brush, etc. Evergreen offers this service from April 1st through November 30th.
